The National Dropout Prevention Center and Network are entering a new era! Even as we have been celebrating our 25 anniversary, we were also planning for the future.
Join us as we introduce to you our new National Dropout Prevention Center director, Dr. Beth Reynolds, as well as our new NDPC Fellows; our early ideas for practitioner Fellows from the Network; our new online international journal, ENGAGE; and various professional development opportunities.
Plan to listen and call in with your questions and topics of interest! Your co-hosts, Sam Drew and Marty Duckenfield, will be talking about these future plans, which we hope will engage all of you in the important work of the National Dropout Prevention Center and Network in the years ahead.
Beth P. Reynolds, Ph.D., joins the NDPC as Executive Director following 37 years in education at all levels and positions including teacher, high school principal, district assistant superintendent, state level consultant, adjunct professor, and author. A continuous learner and passionate teacher, Dr. Reynolds has a track record as a school improvement leader and designer and trainer of professional learning. She brings a wealth of experience in leadership and management which will be crucial for the NDPC and the NDPN as we move forward into the next 25 years.
