The Afterschool Alliance is a coalition of public, private, and nonprofit organizations dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of after-school programs and advocating for quality,affordable programs for all children.

GEAR UP: Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs' mission is to significantly increase the number of low-income students who are prepared to enter and succeed in postsecondary education.

The National Institute on Out-of-School Time (NIOST) has as its mission to ensure that all children, youth, and families have access to high quality programs, activities, and opportunities during nonschool hours.

The National School-Age Care Alliance (NSACA) is the only national membership organization representing the entire array of public, private, and community-based providers of after-school programs.
