Crystal Star Awards

Criteria for Distinguished Leadership and Service Award

A panel of judges will review each nomination for the Crystal Star Award for Distinguished Leadership and Service. The nomination packet consists of the nomination form and the narrative.

The ideal candidate for a Distinguished Leadership and Service Award has contributed to the Network in one or more of the following ways:

  1. Presenter at a Network Event;
  2. Host of a Network Event;
  3. Service on the Network Executive Board;
  4. Chair of a Network Committee;
  5. Assistance at a Network/Center exhibit at other conferences;
  6. Participation in a Network/Center project;
  7. Writer or editor for a Network publication: journal, newsletter, or monograph;
  8. Extraordinary effort in gaining new Network members;
  9. Contribution of information to the Network web site; and
  10. Active participation in networking activities

The nomination deadline for the 2009 Distinguished Leadership and Service Award is May 15, 2009.
